Stop Animation Iris Flower

First of all I took still shots of all papar folding. I then imported them in final cut pro and put different time frames on them to get a specal effect.

A Origami Demonstration

The first Artefact to be produced included a voice over using visual methods demonstrating Origami objects.

During the holidays I needed to explore the art of paper folding by reference to available literature and practice of sequencing skills.
Through rehearsals of repeatable paper folding, I had learnt a new skill and was ready to demonstrate on video.

I had made provision for an appropriate background setting to remove any visual distractions.

For the introduction of my video I was filmed in my back garden on a sunny day.
I was also filmed in my front room, but out of the two I had chosen to edit for the video was the back garden because it had a better appeal to it because it was bright and sunny and my front room was too gloomy and not enough light coming through.

Experimenting and using different techniques with my camera was better to establish the best angles and lighting. I tried to avoid any exposure and use the correct focus. Making any justification was better to do at the time of filming because for me that would save time.

The camera was positioned to take close shots of my hands in movement in conjunction with voiceover. It required intensive practice to ensure confident and competent delivery.

Origami Boat

I experimented with paper folding and then I took individual shots to transform a hat into a boat.
